The objective of the study is to reveal the process of constructing personal learning trajectories and the
student's perspective regarding the flexible curriculum. A phenomenological qualitative methodology
was used and 20 students and graduates of a degree in psychology were interviewed. The results show
that the students are inclined towards a flexible curriculum that allows them to pre-specialize according
to their interests in different fields of intervention and disciplinary paradigms they have chosen. They
reject pre-established and obligatory trajectories that, from their perspective, disrupt their career plan.
