Abstract

In May 2010, an innovative publishing project named Revista Iberoamericana de Educación Superior (RIES) made its first appearance on the scientific electronic magazine scene.One of its main objectives is to foster the visibility of Ibero-American scientific production of authors interested in the analysis of higher education (HE) in countries in this region. The aim of this article is to present the impact RIES has had on the community, from an analysis of its content and the visibility it has obtained. For this bibliometric study, oursources were the first nine issues and information contained in the 2010-2013 report presented to the magazine’s Editorial Board and Academic Committee.
