Abstract

This investigational report analyzes the occupational mobility of Masters degree course graduates in educational administration, higher education and educational orientation of the autonomous University of Tlaxcala, Mexico.

Postgraduate studies have made it possible for more than 50% of the graduates to achieve an upward mobility, particularly towards administrative areas such as directorship and management of institutions. Paradoxically teaching as a substantive function has seen a fall and only a minority of the graduates does research as a focal point of education.
