Abstract

In this paper the importance of training professionals holistically, at the Universidad Politecnica de Tlaxcala, Mexico, under the competency-based education model, and providing them with the necessary skills to join the labor market is highlighted. Reference is also made to the labor conditions that have prevailed in the last two decades, which has shifted from a rating system to a competence system to resolve specific work situations, followed by an analysis of this reference based on the perception of graduates in Chemistry, Mechatronics and Industrial Engineering.
