In higher education institutions, internal and external curriculum evaluation is an absolutely necessary task for the follow-up and fulfillment of the university's substantive functions. This paper reports an experience of curriculum evaluation at the Faculty of Music National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México). The academic and administrative community of this university center took part in this exercise and, from the perspective of this research, it was instrumental in the training of undergraduate students. The inter-institutional connection was the main key for the realization of this curricular evaluation practice.
