Abstract

This text offers a short documentary review on the importance of humor and laughing in the teaching-learning process. In today’s world and with the arising educational changes, the use of laughter is important. In the educational context little value has been attached to humor and laughing. At present it seems appropriate to introduce them as part of the educational skills and competencies. Laughing is good for life and health, and it is for education, too. Another item discussed in the text is a case study of a public university in Mexico on the use of laughter for education.
