The objective of this research was to identify the learning and conditions for the development of training strategies in real environments by students enrolled in a Mexican university. The study was quantitative and based on an exploratory and descriptive scope. A total of 683 students from the areas of knowledge of the institution's curricula participated. The results show differences regarding the learning obtained, in relation to the training strategies. The authors conclude that the training options can contribute for students to acquire new learning, to put into practice the theoretical learning seen in class and to complement what they have learned.
