Perception of students towards the quality of private universities in Monterrey

This article presents the results of an analysis of the perception of higher education quality in private universities in Monterrey, (Nuevo León, Mexico). A semi-structured survey was performed and with the information collected structural equation modeling was completed to explain how students classify their perceipton towards different factors offered by this type of educational institutions. One of the main results was that students allocate more importance to holistic education and development received from the faculty. Likewise, they value that their universities have top level facilities and technological equipment.
